It was previously called the 68th Information Operations Squadron, but as of mid-2008, the name changed to the 68th Network Warfare Squadron. The 68th Network Warfare Squadron is located on Brooks City-Base in San Antonio, Texas. Personnel assigned to the Unit are former members of the 1N6 (Electronic System Security Assessment) career field that was merged with the 1N0 (Operations Intelligence) career field in 2009.
